When deciding whether to accept a networking request, trust your instincts. There are times when it's perfectly okay to respectfully decline an invitation. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆: To apply, you must be a representative of an individual business and the business must: • Be registered and operate in the UK • Employ between 1 to 249 employees in the UK • Be defined as an SME • Have been operating for at least 1 year at the time of application • Operate in the Professional and Business Services sector as defined by the SIC 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿: The aim of the pilot is to subsidise the cost of AI skills training by 50%. Theatre became the lens through which I rediscovered the world. This journey has been transformative, profoundly influencing my personal and professional life. One of the most thought-provoking articles I encountered this week explores how automation's impact has evolved. While I don't entirely agree with every point, it certainly raises important questions about 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. Initially, automation led to job losses and skill reductions in manufacturing and clerical sectors. However, it also brought increased complexity and autonomy to knowledge workers. Now, with the advent of generative AI, the landscape is shifting once more. 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸, as online tasks become more prone to automation.
