𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲: This is us…. I just got off the phone with one of our new starters, who has just finished her first week of onboarding. During our conversation, she mentioned how impressed she was by the fitness culture we foster here at the company. She was surprised I hadn’t mentioned it during the interview process, as she sees it as a significant selling point for the business. It's amusing because, after nearly two years, this aspect has become so ingrained in our identity that I sometimes overlook it. Here are our individual and team accomplishments for 2024: 🏃🏻♀️Jenna ran the 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧. 🥾Three of our team members completed the 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝟑 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬. 🏃🏻♀️ Alex, Laiken, Hollie, and Jenny completed the 𝐋𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧. 🏊🏻♀️ I have an 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐨𝐧 in 2 weeks and an 𝐈𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐧 in 7 weeks. 🏃🏻♂️Marc, Alex, Laiken, and Adrian are gearing up for the 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 in nine weeks. 🎾We offer 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 after work. 🏋🏻♂️At lunchtimes, it's common to see colleagues changing into their running or gym gear for a workout. What I love is how we've 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 over the years and more importantly, 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. However, I would like to stress that Inclusivity is vital to us, and while fitness is a part of who we are, it's not the only thing. We also share common interests in sports, music, going for a drink after work, traveling, personal passions, and more. NEW BLOG: Throughout our experience speaking to candidates across the life sciences sector, about 50-60% of professionals report receiving a counteroffer when they have submitted their resignation. This is relatively high compared to other industries, reflecting the competitive nature of the sector. So, will the underlying issues that prompted you to explore new opportunities in the first place be resolved by accepting? Or are you setting yourself up for disappointment?
