Last month, Terumo Aortic were delighted to welcome our Terumo Chief Executive Officer, Hikaru Samejima, to our facility in Glasgow, Scotland. Samejima-san toured the manufacturing operations, engaged with our associates and hosted a Town Hall event to share his vision and insights. The visit coincided with the presentation ceremony for our recently awarded Kings Award for Innovation which Samejima-san gratefully attended on our behalf at Windsor Castle. It was an inspiring and uplifting day that reinforced our commitment to aortic care and the delivery of innovative solutions for our customers and patients worldwide.

Congratulations to Mr. Said Abisi, Mr. Prakash Saha, Dr. Panos Gkoutzios, Mr. Harishankar Nair, Mr. Mike Ghosh, Dr. Madhu Puchakayala and Dr. Tiffany Patterson at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, UK, on their successful first implant of a Relay Triple Branch endograft in zone 0. The stent-graft and bridging stents were implanted with excellent positioning and minimal manipulation in the arch. Distal tapering of the main graft will facilitate further treatment.
