With 264 million young people out of education, employment or training (two-thirds of whom are women), World YMCA has placed tackling youth unemployment at the centre of it’s Vision 2030 strategy, with it’s Meaningful Work pillar.   Our ?What If! team in London (George Brain, Olivia Palacci and Maria Francisca Jorge) brought our full suite of ?What If! tools, methodologies, and mindsets to bring a unique perspective to what a fit for purpose strategy for Meaningful Work will look like in 2030, co-creating with Ys from across 8 countries, in addition to leveraging a network of internal and external SMAs.   It’s incredibly exciting to see how the strategy has been adopted and is evolving across Ys around the world.
