WE WON WE WON WE WON THE FUTURE OF WORK AWARD! #ImpactSummitAwards2024 by Digital Leaders in London last week. Thanks to everyone who voted for the peoples choice awards too. It was unbelievable how much support we had. Unfortunately we didn't quite bag that one but we won the big one! (Look at that hefty award too. Nearly dropped it, it's a good one for our growing awards shelf). This was quite an intensive application process so it feels even more rewarding. Thanks Eden Heath the best Marketing/PR Lead ever, who tells our story so beautifully. Also to Chris Luff MBE and Alexandra Birtles for judging our category and having such nice words to say about WAC - Work & Money Management App on stage. Finally Robin Knowles and Leigh Smyth FRSA for hosting such an important and special event.

NOW THEN... HERE'S ONE FOR THE NORTH 💜 (South I love you too, but this one's for Leeds) When I started building WAC and started fundraising I really didn't know where to start. I thought I had to be 'where the money was' and didn't even really know what that meant. I stayed put in a city that didn't have too many businesses like mine and managed to build a reputation, as well as a supportive network, get some amazing press and ultimately get WAC the recognition it deserves. This has helped us reach workers in need and become one of the few northern companies invested in outside of London. I don't know the stats (someone please comment) but I know it's small! Genuinely, thank you to anyone who has supported me and WAC and been part of the journey.
