Cloudinary’s implementation of the C2PA standard for Content Provenance and Authenticity and its Content Credentials specification is going to be a game changer. Standard support will enable Cloudinary customers such as Dow Jones to embed secure, tamper-evident metadata in their media files to help preserve trust in the authenticity of the images and videos people consume online. Explaining the benefit of adopting the standard, Clarence Kwei, SVP of Consumer Technology at Dow Jones, stated: “With the advent of AI and generative AI, it’s getting harder and harder to distinguish fact from fiction. Running spot instances today to drive down the cost of bursty workloads - using AKS, EKS or GKE? Cool, that's nice. But don't think that you are actually getting the best price available. If you are, I will guarantee you that it is pure coincidence. Why? Because if you run either managed k8s solution from any of the hyper scalers, you will automatically not have the ability to pick the spot instances from all the other providers who want to offer you great pricing. Differences in the market are massive, but few people are aware. Just check our website, sign up to our platform and see for yourself.

This was a fun and insightful interview with Sami Ellong & Jarod Greene. Here is what I took away: Samy believes that the shift from traditional demos to discovery and understanding underlying business problems will be a game-changer in 2024 and beyond. Changing expectations and mindsets around demos as the first interaction will require time and effort.
