Investment in SFH reached an all-time high of £1.9 billion last year, with investors acquiring or financing the construction of more than 6,200 rental homes. Knight Frank suggests that, based on current valuations, this could potentially result in the creation of more than 60,000 new single-family housing (SFH) Build to Rent residences. Great to see optimism in the latest 2024 Q2 Deloitte CFO survey: 🖋 Corporate risk appetite among UK CFOs has seen its biggest rise in more than four years, following the general election. 🖋 CFO perceptions of external uncertainty have fallen to the lowest level in more than eight years. 🖋 Business confidence among finance leaders has risen for the fourth consecutive quarter. 🖋 CFOs’ expectations for corporate revenue growth have risen to their highest level in two-and-a-half years. 🖋 Finance chiefs suggest that the new government should prioritise industrial policy and planning reform to boost UK growth and productivity. Whilst this is reflective of CFOs in major UK corporates, it certainly feels there's more eagerness to drive growth activities and hopfefully lead to those NetSuite implementations and projects getting approval!

The 9% year-on-year rise in UK property shares, led by Vistry's (VTY) 57% increase, indicates optimism in the real estate sector, boding well for market activity and deals.
