It made for an interesting read and is something affiliate marketers really do need to keep abreast of as privacy and consent changes are taking place at different levels around the world. Over 255.47% YOY growth for a new client we took over from another agency We started working with the client in Jan this year (see graph below which clearly shows the initial impact 👇 The client is in a super competitive space in supplements. We took them over from another agency as their sales were stagnant, still good but not growing. To get the results we 1) Implemented our 52 point audit 2) Created a 3 month plan Main work included 1) PPC optimisation - we did not increase spend, we honed it and added 40% sales to the same spend 2) Experiments running all the time - we did many main image experiments which increased CTR by 34% 3) Premium A+ - we added premium A+ to all listings which increased conversion by 9% 4) Reoptimised - we filled out everything and fully optimised all listings 5) parentages - we built a strategy around the parent listings and children to optimise sales 6) Stock and buy box - we made sure they are in stock and have control of their buy box Nothing too miraculous but in my experience it never is. How We Surpassed Client KPIs set by over 370% 📈 We've been working with Connectus Utilities for just over 6 months, supporting with Google Ads and the results have been 🔥🔥🔥 Prior to coming on board with us, they'd not ran any PPC for their Connectus site before, so were entering unchartered territory. Fear not though as we were confident in what we could achieve! The first few weeks were very focused on understanding their customer profile and aligning that with a detailed Google Ads strategy. Once clear, we then built out the campaigns comprising of a mix between search and PMAX. In the early months, cross-checking lead quality with the client was essential and Herjyot M. did a great job of liaising with their individual teams to understand their service further. Google won’t index websites that do not work on mobile devices after July 5th.... If your website is not accessible using a mobile device, then Google will no longer index it and rank it. We thought Google’s mobile-first indexing initiative, which started in 2016, was completed last October. But it won’t really be fully done until after July 5th. “The small set of sites we’ve still been crawling with desktop Googlebot will be crawled with mobile Googlebot after July 5, 2024,” John Mueller from Google wrote on the Google blog. Mueller explained: “The largest part of the web is already being crawled like this, and there is no change in crawling for these sites.” However, “after July 5, 2024, we’ll crawl and index these sites with only Googlebot Smartphone.” So if your site is not accessible using a mobile device, then Google “will no longer” index it and thus rank it. Mobile accessibility is required for Google indexing. Yes, Mueller wrote, “If your site’s content is not accessible at all with a mobile device, it will no longer be indexable.” This is a long time coming. Google has finally drawn a line in the sand for sites that simply do not render on mobile. This doesn’t mean Google won’t index your site if it isn’t mobile-friendly. What Google is saying is that if your site simply does not render or load on mobile devices, then Google won’t index it. If you have a desktop template only, it is fine, assuming the desktop version loads on a mobile device. Some desktop crawling to continue. Google said that Google still sometimes uses the Googlebot Desktop crawler for product listings and for Google for Jobs. This means you may still see Googlebot Desktop in your server logs and reporting tools. What to do. Having reserve email accounts & ESP diversification will be a MUST moving forward. You could be doing absolutely everything “correct” in terms of deliverability But still have accounts get nuked out of nowhere with no understanding of why. Having accounts across different ESPs and in reserve in case of a rainy day will solve both a throttle in volume (from setting up new accounts from scratch + warm up) And can help you identify which providers are under/outperforming others. Deliverability tests are just as important as copy split-tests now.

I've broken it down for you: Largest Contentful Paint Measures how long it takes for the largest visible element (like an image or a block of text) to load and appear on the screen. A faster LCP means users can see and interact with the main content more quickly. Total Blocking Time Measures the amount of time a webpage is blocked from responding to user input, such as clicks or keyboard actions. A lower TBT indicates a more responsive and user-friendly webpage. Cumulative Layout Shift Measures how much a webpage's layout shifts unexpectedly while it is loading. A lower CLS score means the page is more stable, providing a better user experience as elements don't jump around unexpectedly. (1) if Google has already been shown to artificially inflate CPCs in auctions they know have the margin to do so (as revealed in the DOJ trial) and if (2) brands are adding their actual LTV numbers into the NCA goal in Google as "additional "revenue expected for a new customer, Then: What is stopping Google from secretly utilizing that additional NCA amount to inflate New Customer auctions even more than 10-15% (what Dischler claimed in the trial). Ouch.
