In a clever move by USC coach Andy Enfield, he extended offers to the nation’s No. 1 sophomore Marvin Bagley III and his eighth grade brother Marcus on the same day, according to Evan Daniels at Scout.com.

Marvin, a 6-11 power forward, continues to pick up offers from all the elite programs that you’d expect for the No. 1 player in his class — Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, Kansas, North Carolina, Oregon, etc.

Bagley left Phoenix Hillcrest Prep in early November and was being home-schooled, before moving to Southern California and enrolling in Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth) in January.

After Bagley was ruled ineligible and lost an appeal, the CIF stated that he wouldn’t be eligible until January 2017, which would make it a year from the date he enrolled. However, the CIF ruled this week that Bagley can play at Sierra Canyon from the start of the season after the organization received updated transfer paperwork.
