CEO

If news that big-name clients Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato sought management elsewhere gave you the impression Braun has free time these days, think again, especially with Ozuna, Ava Max and Kaliii turning to SB Projects this year for management. Braun led HYBE’s February acquisition of Quality Control, home of such hip-hop stars as Lil Baby and Migos. He and HYBE chair Bang Si-Hyuk partnered on A&R for the solo debut of BTS member Jung Kook, which saw single “Seven (feat. Latto)” set several streaming records — including fastest to reach 100 million streams at Spotify then fastest to hit a billion — while reaching No. 1 on iTunes in 100 countries, the U.S. among them. Braun continues mining media opportunities, cooking up a drama with YG for Amazon MGM and executive producing the popular reggaeton-flavored Netflix comedy “Neon” and the nonfiction podcast “Love and Darkness.”
