After leaving “Law and Order: SVU” nine years ago, actor Chris Meloni has appeared in shows like “Pose” and “Handmaid’s Tale” as well as his latest series, “Maxxx.”
But, once post-pandemic production resumes, Meloni will be reprising his role of Detective Elliot Stabler on “Law and Order: Organized Crime,” a new installment of the franchise.
Meloni talked with Variety‘s Marc Malkin on the Variety After-Show about returning to “Law and Order” after all these years.
“I think I maybe wanted to be less of a journeyman or a nomad because I’ve been doing that. It’s been great…but after a while you’re like, ‘Let’s look for a home base again for a while,” Meloni said.
