On Sunday, 7th July 2024, Ioanna SV4SWQ/P & SV2RUJ/P, two radio amateurs, from Greece, reached the summit of Gubel in the Macedonia Region of Greece. They activated the summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 95 contacts in total working on the 20m and 10m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Gubel is 2254 metres (7395 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
