The Victims of Communism Museum is dedicated to commemorating the more than 100 million victims of Communism around the world and to those pursuing freedom from totalitarian regimes.

Museum news
The Museum’s new temporary exhibit explores Lithuania’s occupation by the Soviet Union, resistance movement, and life under oppression, as well as the eventual march toward freedom, democracy, and prosperity, featuring artwork from Henrikas Ciparis.

Explore the Museum’s previous temporary gallery on the Holodomor, which chronicles the Soviet-made famine that killed millions of Ukrainians from 1932-1933 and connects this dark chapter to Russia’s ongoing and brutal war in Ukraine.
