From The Soviet Red Flag To The Lithuanian Tricolor

The Victims of Communism Museum is proud to host a new temporary gallery, the first exhibit in the United States from the Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights in Vilnius. Entitled “From the Soviet Red Flag to the Lithuanian Tricolor: 50 Years of Struggle for Freedom,” the exhibit opened on Friday, March 15 in Washington, D.C.

The gallery explores Lithuania’s occupation by the Soviet Union, resistance movement, life under oppression, as well as the eventual march toward freedom, democracy, and prosperity and features artwork from Henrikas Ciparis.
