To her disbelief (and ours), she claims her prayers were answered when Jesus the Son of God and Almighty Redeemer Himself showed up in her MRI scan. Yep, the meme is back, and this time it's in an MRI scan. We've seen Big JC before in tree trunks, spoons, shirts, cheese puffs, clouds, waffles and pancakes, rocks, toast, fish sticks, cats, ice, sonograms, danishes, wood paneling, cell phones, and on grilled cheese sandwiches.
And now to add onto the list: MRI scans. Whether or not you believe he's for real, showing up to answer one cancer patient's prayers, we can all agree on one thing: we hope Tammie Cohrs fights through this. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Love, Urlesque (and, hey, maybe Jesus, too?)

I am definitely a believer in Jesus and His power to heal and comfort people, but I am amazed at the people who believe they saw a picture of Him anywhere. We have no description of Jesus written down and no authentic pictures of Him, so how can we say this is His image? I am thrilled that the lady was comforted by Jesus' presence while in the MRI and I certainly hope for her complete recovery, but let's get over the idea of seeing pictures of Him.

You're right franny..Jesus did not look like the white man many religions portray..He was an Israeli... He would be of a little darker skin then an Englishman...

certainly though if Jesus were to appear in an MRI he would not appear as anything other than what we imagine him to look like because otherwise we would not recognize him and his attempt would be in vain and I doubt jesus makes attempts in vain. Please don't criticize my run on sentences haha.

Wow!!! This is truly amazing because the last time I looked it up, Jesus is supposed to be sitting at the right hand of the Father making everlasting intercession on our behalf. For whatever reason according to this person, Jesus has left the Mercy Seat to go be seen in an MRI photo leaving all of us to fend for ourselves during a photo op. So, who's minding the store when Jesus is not at His appointed position to go do something like this?
Dear folks, I'm a believer too but this is completely unscriptural and therefor it IS NOT our Lord being seen in an MRI photo. I don't know what it is but it is not what has been portrayed in this story. By the way, He is not found in gas station bathroom mirrors, cheese toast or any other place other than where He is appointed to be...which is at the right hand of God making everlasting intercession on our behalf.

Being diagnosed with oral cancer is no laughing matter, nor is getting an MRI. Luckily, we've never had to undergo the procedure like Tammie Cohrs did, but we would probably be praying, too, as she did while being scanned.I am female, 20,a young and big beautiful woman in US,i just wonder if i can meet a men who can love me here, because i am single at present and i need someone’s support..i uploaded my hot photos on kissbbw.c om under the name nancy099,maybe you want to check out my photos first!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery! My boyfriend thinks the same with me. He is eight years older than me, lol. We met online at agelessmate.c om a nice and free place for younger women and older men, or older women and younger men, to interact with each other. Maybe you wanna check out or tell your friends.ddd

Why the hateful comment, oh wait, I know, you are trying to be funny, cute, getting laughs, well dude, you failed. If you don't believe in God, fine, be your atheist hater self, but stop trying to get laughs from those of us that do believe. Not saying it is Jesus in MRI but not saying it isn't as I personally know that HE does exist and performs miracles. Don't you just hate it when believers call you out on this? Tough!

I can make out some facial features in the picture, but who said the face is Jesus' face? It is nothing!

I feel sorry about the lady's ailmrnt. But, does cancer automatically give someone the stupidity gene? People report seeing Jesus or Mary on all sorts of things. How the heck do they know what those people looked like if they ever really existed. There are no photos of them. I just saw the image of Jerry Falwell on my toenail fungus, and it temporarily sapped the intelligence from me. There are thousands of photos to verify Falwell's appearance.

Lots of things I cannot see but do believe in. Why does one have to try and take anothers hopes and beliefs away if it makes them feel better and gives them a more positive outlook on a scary situation. And for a person to believe this is what Jesus looks like is just as right as those who say he should look like something else. How would they know any better. Did they see him for themselves?

Did you REALLY just call Jesus "The Big JC"? What an irreverent and disgusting thing to say! Just when I think I can't be shocked by things people utter online. Wow

Thank you Deb -- I was beginning to think I was the only one who caught that. That is so disrepectful, I was actually thinking, "Wow - he is putting a positive spin on this!" and then his true self came through. I am not surprised, just disappointed. Someday every knee shall bow.

If God wanted to send comfort through an MRI or potato chip, or grilled cheese sandwiches, then it would be by words and not by something that invites mockery. God knows about the narcissistic fruitcakes who crave excuses for mockery, bigotry, bullying etc etc of his followers, and their obsessive self centered need to scapegoat them to aquire temporary relief from their self loathing. I don't see God doing something that would invite or perpetuate that, such as putting the image of white American "Jesus" on an MRI, grilled cheese, trees, etc etc. That would be the same as participating in the fruit cakes' mockery of Himself and his followers.

I BELIEVE, as I am a double cancer survivor. As for the image...I believe we see what we need to see. She needed to know that God is real and in her corner.

In these last days, these "sightings" (and there seem to be more and more) are meant to be a distraction to real faith. We're a society that needs to "see" in order to believe. People are so desperate for tangible proof they've forgotten real faith need not have visible proof. Personally, I see the image of a cop next to the image of a piranhia. BTW, like another commentor said, Jesus has dark skin, he was Palestinian, and he would not have long hair. It was the custom of Jewish men to sport the short hair styles ala the Roman men of the times. Paul said that it is a shame for a man to have long hair like a woman. Paul would never have made this disparaging remark about a 'long haired Jesus'.
