- I did not miss anything as you did not say anything other then there are "death panels". If you want to make a point you must state it. Now that you have I can see why this would be problematic.

- exercise without calorie restriction in some way usually doesn't result in weight-loss since people tend have an increased metabolism along with increased exercise, then again, dieting rarely ends in sustained weight loss either..

- The point is the "death panel" clause was never intended, nor has the effect of being a death panel. People should discuss how they want their health to be managed in the case they are unable to communicate with health providers. It's a matter of dignity and autonomy.

- True. And it's not only Hawaii. There have been global declines of fish due to overfishing and natural predators (who have not been the cause of the decreased catches BTW) always get the blame. Why do you think clubbing baby seals have been continually embraced by fishing communities in Canada.

- Poor Boxer...now at least I get your point though I disagree. All Obama's health care act was trying to do was increase health care coverage and fix a lot of problems like denial based on previous conditions - the so called death panels were a unsubstantiated scare tactic.
