  • The swimmer ignored the warnings and has paid the consequences. I think this is why God created simming pools, so that we won't enter the domain of Great White Sharks. The poor guy must not have watched "Jaws." You couldn't pay me enough money to swim in the ocean.

  • I'm satisfied with the traditional Facebook profile and don't want or need to add to it. If it's not broken, don't try to fix it. Several of my friends are saying they're going to go to Google + and scrap Facebook. So.... Thank you.

  • The increase in illegal immigration from Mexico can be attributed in part to the rise of the violent crime across the border. Some of the 'illegals" are members of the violent drug cartels and the carnage is slowly moving northward to the American border states.

  • I'm not a lawyer, but I've heard all my life (72 years) that possession of an article is 9/10ths of proof of ownership, unless it can be proven said article was stolen or obtained by illegal means.

  • I'm not sure if we are supposed to feel sorry for this mass murderer or what ? I hope he has a very long and extremely painful death. After his release from a Scottish prison he returned to Libya as a welcomed hero and was apparently given millions by Gadhafi.

  • I've seen a number of spellings for the name of Gadhafi, so I'll not try to be politically correct with my version. The Libyan dictator had a long reign expanding four decades and his demise is well over due. This should be a clear message to ALL dictators and to the "wanttabees".

  • Having been born shortly before the outbreak of WWII when Germany invaded Poland I find it hard to believe that there are those that equate Nazism with present day Israeli politics and practice. As far as I know, Israel has no death camps or firing squads for ethnic cleansing.
