Last week we asked redditors to ask Tim Ferriss anything. Tim did a great job answering the questions we gave him, even the hard ones.

Since February 13, over 4,000 people from 63 countries have signed up for the 2012 book exchange. These kind bookrophiliacs bibliophiles have also donated more than $31,000 through DonorsChoose.org/redditgifts, helping us get thousands of books into high-poverty schools. These could be the books that get them hooked. The ones they'll stay up late reading in bed, refusing to sleep until they finish the chapter. The ones they'll pull down from shelves when they're older and instantly remember how awesome it felt to get lost in a story for the first time…

Secret Santas and redditors of the world, send us your postcards or holiday cards! One of our favorite things about redditgifts is that we have so many people in so many states, provinces and countries taking part. We would love to decorate our walls with postcards from your city or country. It would be amazing to have cards from all of your countries. If you don’t want to send a tourist card, you can send any kind you like (event a holiday card). We just want to put your cards on our walls! : )

This year for reddit Trick or Treat meetup day we had 55 meetups where people got together, wore costumes and had a lot of fun. We asked them to take pictures of the costumes and upload them for a costume contest where we held voting on October 30th and 31st. Lots of fun was had, votes were cast and Thinkgeek has stepped up to give the top 15 vote getters gift certificates. Here are the winners in order of votes.

We are excited to release some new features today to our meetups platform. If you head over to our meetups, you'll notice that it looks a bit cleaner, but more importantly, you'll notice that we are now trying to show you meetups that are close to you first (special thanks to simplegeo for the rad API). We redditors are a diverse bunch and we think we should all connect more in real life, we hope this makes it a bit easier to find meetups (and redditors) closer to you.

We have some super exciting news here: redditgifts has officially been acquired by reddit! We are so happy about this as it will allow us to really put our efforts toward making redditgifts exchanges and meetups better than ever.

We are pretty much beside ourselves here at redditgifts. We LOVE Jimmy Fallon, we watch him regularly and to see that he participated and gave an amazing gift with THE ROOTS is about the best thing ever. Thank you Jimmy and happy Arbitrary Day to you too!
