Due to unforeseen circumstances, I won't be able to organize this year's GRM Day in the RGV. IF anyone is willing to pick up and organize one, please feel free to do so. I apologize to all the people that were planning to attend.

The Global Reddit Meetup is here again and this time we will make it an awesome time for all redditors. As always I have no problems organizing it, but this time we I will need some hands to do some of the leg work to make this one the best meetup yet! Also, nothing in life is for free, so this time around I believe we need to come up with a budget and fee so every redditor can put their part into the meetup. I am not talking anything above $20/person. This would allow us to do something extra special and even cater food and drinks to the attendees.
Now what we need is IDEAS people! So please put some comments here to see what and where would be an awesome place to go!

I'm gonna second the Pool party. It's gonna be hot so it'll be a nice way to cool off. :)
OK pool party sounds great, but I need ideas on places. Anyone knows of a good place that we could rent/crash for the party?
The boys and girls club pool in McAllen is usually open for renting during the summer:3
And even if you don't rent it it's usually less than 5$ per person to get in n,n
