Earlier this year, Technicolor's Tim Sarnoff was appointed to the newly created role of president of production services -- a restructured group that includes visual effects, postproduction, animation and digital cinema distribution worldwide -- with an aim to create what the exec describes as a more "holistic" approach to production and distribution.

Sarnoff will discuss his views on the business during a panel on Saturday that THR's Carolyn Giardina will be moderating at the PGA's Produced By conference.

Sony Pictures Imageworks -- well known as the lead VFX house for the Spider-Man franchise including The Amazing Spider-Man 2 -- is moving its headquarters from Culver City to its Vancouver operation, meaning that all future Imageworks and Sony Picture Animation production will be handled entirely under one roof in British Columbia.

Warner Bros. Entertainment has selected six participants for its second annual Media Camp program: Bubbl, Incoming Media, Portal Entertainment, Sidevision, Toggle and Wisemetrics.

Started in 2012 by Turner Broadcasting, Media Camp is a program designed to educate entrepreneurs and help them to build their businesses. The 12-week program will be held at Warner Bros. Studios, where participants will work with Warners executives to develop new projects, as well as attend workshops and receive mentorship.

Todd-Soundelux -- the postproduction company that is home to leading sound professionals behind recent work such as Divergent, Game of Thrones and Oscar-nominated Lone Survivor -- has filed for Chapter 11 and is working on a restructuring plan while preparing for sale. It intends to remain open and fully operational during restructuring.
