How do I update my contact information?

You can update your contact information in the WHYY Member Portal. You can also reach out to Member Services at  memberservices@whyy.org or by calling 215-351-0511, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Contributions to WHYY are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. We provide tax information for each donation, including the total gift amount, the fair market value of any thank-you gifts received, and the tax-deductible total. Sustaining Members are sent letters at the beginning of each year. Those who make one-time contributions are sent tax information after each donation.

What is WHYY’s EIN number?

EIN: 23-1438083

How can I access my WHYY MemberCard?

A digital copy of your MemberCard can be accessed within our Member Portal.

If you recently made a donation to WHYY please allow a few days for your information to update in the portal. If you prefer a physical copy, please email memberservices@whyy.org or call Member Services at 215-351-0511, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

How do I contact Member and Audience Services?

Our Member and Audience Services team will be happy to help you with any questions you may have! You can call us during our regular business hours at 215-351-0511 or you can email us at memberservices@whyy.org. Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Do you have a Member Portal?

Yes! You can login to WHYY’s Member Portal with the email address on your WHYY Membership.

What is a Sustaining Membership?

Sustaining Membership is the ideal way to support WHYY. Your contributions are processed automatically on an ongoing monthly (or quarterly or annual) basis. Sustaining Memberships provide us with anticipated pledged funds that we can use to plan for future expenses.

Why should I become a Sustaining Member?

Being a Sustaining Member means that we know we can count on your support. This allows us to make long-term financial decisions more effectively. Additionally, Sustainer giving reduces WHYY’s administrative costs so more of your donation can go to the programs you enjoy.

A Sustaining Membership is also a budget-friendly way of giving – instead of a lump sum, you can spread your gift payments throughout the year.

How do I manage my ongoing recurring donation?

You can easily manage all aspects of your ongoing recurring donation, such as updating your payment method or changing your donation amount, by contacting Member Services by email at memberservices@whyy.org or by calling 215-351-0511. Member Services Associates are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

If you have selected a thank-you gift, you will be asked to meet the minimum donation level before cancelling.

Consider a switch to EFT! Electronic funds transfer uses your bank account and routing number instead of your credit card number. You will save WHYY credit card processing fees, and you do not have to call us every time you get an updated credit card in the mail.

Where can I see a list of the available thank-you gifts?

A complete list of our available gifts can be found on our donation form, under the section ‘Choose a Thank-You Gift’.
