I was talking to a friend the other day and somehow the subject of GamerGate come up. I was shocked to learn that a large percentage of people that rely on sources like CNN for “news” don’t really understand what happened, how it happened and what the facts are behind it all. I ran across this story in the Washington Post and realized that it was pretty much as far from the truth as possible. I guess in fairness this was back a number of years when people hadn’t realized yet how badly corrupt the mainstream media was.
There is a popular YouTuber name The Quartering and he is one of the very best sources for what actually happened in GamerGate the real story as he is and was deep in the industry. I suggest you read the WP story above then view this playlist of videos you will be amazed at the difference in the two stories.. and the more you dig the more you’ll see how far off base the Post was.
