500 status code for “POST /sites/*********/publicize-connections/new”

    Hi.

    I’ve been struggling with connecting Jetpack to facebook.

    These are the steps we have followed…
    1. login to the admin
    2. go into Jetpack -> My Jetpack
    3. click Social -> Manage
    4. Click “Connect your social media accounts”
    5. Click “Connect” button on either facebook or twitter and then login to your social account and grant access
    6. You then get the error message – 500 status code for “POST /sites/*********/publicize-connections/new”

    I already deactivated and deleted the plugin more than once but still, I get the error.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
