We have a business license for Akismet. I have added this to the site and added akistmet:author and author_email to the short code setup for CF7.

When I test the spam filtering by using the email: akismet-guaranteed-spam@example.com it still passes and the message is sent.

We are receiving a lot of spam via this form at them minute, even with ReCaptcha and now I’m trying to get Akismet working to help.

Hi there,

I don’t see any Akismet submissions from your site’s contact form, so it looks like something isn’t set up correctly. Contact Form 7’s instructions for setting up the form can be found here: https://contactform7.com/spam-filtering-with-akismet/

Please contact us at support@akismet.com, and we’ll help get this set up correctly. If possible, please include a screenshot of the form’s shortcode setup.
