Akismet help with fave (authorization testing) orders?

    I’m getting people trying to use cards purchased off the dark web or some sh*t, to see if they work. Will Akismet prevent these spam orders?

    Hi there:

    Akismet does not protect against that specific type of problem, unfortunately.

    WooCommerce does sell an anti-fraud extension designed to protect against the problem you describe, but it would only work if you use WooCommerce for your store: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-anti-fraud/

    Without knowing what eCommerce software you use for your store, it’s hard to recommend a specific solution, but I’m sure other organizations offer something similar to combat this problem.
