Hi, I just installed the free version of Jetpack and I’m not understanding where it stores the backup files. Any help would be appreciated.

Or can’t you backup files under the free account?

    Hi there,

Jetpack backups are a feature only available with our paid plans. With the free version of Jetpack, you will not have access to the backup functionality. Jetpack’s backup features store your site’s content on Jetpack’s servers, which you can access and manage through your account on Jetpack.com.

If you are looking to use the backup feature, you would need to upgrade to a paid plan that includes backups. Once you have a plan that supports backups, the backups are performed automatically for your site, and you don’t need to worry about where the files are stored since they are safely kept offsite.

If you would like further details on how Jetpack backups work or need assistance with anything else, feel free to reply to this thread.

    Thank you!
