Can anyone explain how to get posts to show up? I have created the portfolio as posts and none of them are showing up. I was on another theme (twenty sixteen) and recently migrated to this new theme. I’ve read all the instructions and created Projects but I seem to be none the wiser on how to get these to show.

My website is not hosted on the WordPress server and I would like to showcase my projects, blog, movie reviews and book reviews section. Thank you.

The site I need help with is: padmavatigopalan.com

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello again!

    As before for portfolios.

To enable them, go to Jetpack → Settings → Writing in your WordPress Dashboard and toggle on the Portfolio option under Custom Content Types.

For posts, a posts page can be set via Appearance → Customize → Homepage Settings.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello Adam,

Thanks for your response. I think the issue isn’t clear. If you look at any of the categories I have created (say portfolio) and click on any of the tiles, ideally it should open up and show the details. However, in this case the page refreshes and the user fails to view the details.

It looks like something on those category archive pages (that you have set as your menu items) might be misconfigured because it’s redirecting all post links to the category archive page.

For example, this URL taken from your site’s RSS feed should take you to a post titled “Decoding Microcopy: The Complete Guide”:

    https://padmavatigopalan.com/?p=1034

Instead of showing that post, it redirects to:

    https://padmavatigopalan.com/blog/

You should check any installed plugins to see if you’re setting any redirects and either change the redirect rules or disable the plugin to get that to work properly.
