    Hi @bahr2011,

Could you please check for any errors in your browser’s console while attempting to regenerate Critical CSS using Jetpack Boost? Here’s how to do it:

    1. Go to Jetpack → Boost in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Open your browser’s console. If you’re using Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + J on Windows/Linux or Cmd + Option + J on Mac.
    3. Ensure the Critical CSS feature is active, then press ‘Regenerate’ and observe.

If any errors pop up in the console, kindly capture a screenshot. You can use tools like Snipboard (https://snipboard.io/) or Imgur (https://imgur.com) to snapshot and share the image. Please paste the screenshot link in your response.

    We appreciate your cooperation!

Thank you for getting back to me. Unfortunately I have already tried a few things like this one.

Here is the screenshot of the error message

    Hi @studiose,

Thank you for the screenshot. Can you please open the browser console as recommended previously when trying to regenerate Critical CSS, and share a screenshot with the errors displayed in the console? That might be helpful for us to investigate this further.

    Thank you!

    hey @studiose!

After doing what @alinclamba suggested, could you also type CriticalCSSGenerator in the console and make a screenshot of the result? To do that, click right next to the > symbol and paste in the word exactly as written.

This would just tell is if the code that is used to generate the critical css is functioning correctly. If there’s a red error message, that means it’s broken and something might be preventing it from getting loaded.

    Hi @studiose , @bahr2011

I’m excited to share some fantastic news with you! 😊

After a thorough investigation, we identified that the issue causing Jetpack Boost to fail during Critical CSS generation was linked to the ShopEngine plugin active on your site. We contacted the plugin’s developers, and they’ve already released an updated version with a fix.

Please go ahead and update the ShopEngine plugin. Once updated, try regenerating the Critical CSS in Jetpack → Boost.

    Best!
