    Hello,

So, I am running three unique instances of Sensei LMS on three distinct (same same versions) of WordPress, Sensei, WooCommerce and supporting code.

We are wanting to create a single site for multiple tracks on the single site for unique certificates based on track.

Problem is, we have a few years of archived data, and we are wanting to migrate two of the sites data regarding users, certificates, etc, to the forthcoming single new site…are there any available tools to help with that, or has anyone done it before that can give some guidance as to the schema and migration path of such data?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello @dbmasters,

we are actively working at the moment on an Importer and Exporter tool which would allow you to export the Courses, Lessons, Quizes and Questions into CSV files. Once we release these tools you can use them to migrate the data from one site to another.

In the initial version of the tools there won’t be support for certificates though. For users there are many tools available which you can use. We expect that both tools will be available by August.

Unfortunately Sensei doesn’t yet have any built-in tools for migrating data between sites. You may be able to migrate the data directly to/from the databases, but you’ll need to make sure all the relevant IDs remain the same to maintain the data relationships.

We are planning some import tools for Sensei later this year, so you may prefer to wait until that is available before attempting this.
