    Hi all,

I cannot find the life of me, how to edit the colour for the ‘Type your email….’ in the email subscription widget from JetPack, any ideas? I don’t like it being red as it doesn’t match the rest of the website.

    Thanks

It appears you’re using the Autoptimize plugin, which is preventing me from seeing where the original CSS is coming from.

It appears something on your site is assigning a red font to the .required CSS class. It may be your theme, or other custom CSS you’ve added to the site. Changing that CSS, will change that text color in the Jetpack Subscriptions widget.

pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,

    Hello @adurrante

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
