    Hi @jonez34,

I see what you mean; it looks like the share buttons on your static landing page are linking to your /boilers page instead of home: https://d.pr/i/60MmyB

Can you tell us how you’ve set up the main page? Is it created with blocks, or some kind of page builder, or a template? And what do you have set as your Homepage in your WP Admin’s Reading Settings? https://d.pr/i/2OLFgc

Have you tried removing and re-adding the sharing buttons there?

Your connection to Jetpack looks good, so that’s a step in the right direction. I’ve kicked off a fresh sync of your site to our servers in case that’s where the issue is. We’ll look forward to hearing back from you on the above.

    Cheers!

    Jen,

    thanks for the quick response.
the home page is created through theme options of the SKT theme Handy Man Pro. It uses Sections to create the different parts. the Boilers link is part of a featured Projects shortcode that is used to bring in the post like cards into the home page, and the rest of the content is HTML text-based, see below for the main section content. As for the Homepage setting it’s set to the latest blog since that’s what the theme uses to create the content of the homepage. I have reached out to the develops of the theme and they cant find any issues with their code.

I have played with settings and I can get the buttons to be removed but then we have no shareable links on the landing page/front page. I think I unchecked post and that got rid of them, but the front page and pages and media were left checked and we didn’t see any buttons on the landing page.

Hi @jonez34, thanks for the additional information! Can you try getting in touch with the author of the theme in question? They should be able to provide more information about how the front-page pulls in information. And as such, they might be able to suggest a fix for this issue within the theme itself.

It looks like you can contact them here:

    https://www.sktthemes.org/contact/

Please let us know what they say and we can go from there!

Ryan, I have already worked with them on the issue. They have stopped answering my questions and directed me to jetpack support for help.

I did forward the request in the thread I have open on their support group to see if they can help more, but I don’t look for them too.

    That sounds like a plan.

No need to reply until you’ve heard back from your theme’s developer, but once you do (and I sincerely hope you do!), please let us know if there’s anything we can clarify. Thanks!

    here is their response,

    Hi,

Check your Sharing settings at Settings → Sharing and make sure you have enabled the sharing buttons on the post types you want to display them on:

    See screenshot:

    Hi @jonez34,

I trust that the settings suggested in Dave’s reply are enabled at your end, am I right? You should be able to find them on this page:

    https://www.bluegrasskesco.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=sharing

Let me know if they’re all set as expected. If they are, then I guess the ball is again on the theme author’s court – and I’m sorry to send you once again to them :/

Skt themes were able to change out how the landing page works, they were using the latest post feature, and since that doesn’t come across as a page that’s why jetpack was not loading at the bottom. the issue has been resolved thanks for the help
