How to increase WordPress memory limit on localhost?

    I have installed WP locally by using MAMP. When I changed my WP theme, it has shown this message:

    Current memory WordPress Limit: 40 | Your usage now: 27MB | Total Server Memory: 256MB

    To release all theme power, please, increase the WordPress memory limit to 128M or more.

    How can I increase WP memory on localhost?
