Hi @dvalilis,
Thanks for reaching out with your issue.
Could you please check for any errors in your browser’s console while attempting to regenerate Critical CSS using Jetpack Boost? Here’s how to do it:
- Go to Jetpack → Boost in your WordPress dashboard.
- Open your browser’s console. If you’re using Chrome, press
Ctrl + Shift + J
on Windows/Linux or Cmd + Option + J
on Mac.
- Ensure the Critical CSS feature is active, then press ‘Regenerate’ and observe.
If any errors pop up in the console, kindly capture a screenshot. You can use tools like Snipboard (https://snipboard.io/) or Imgur (https://imgur.com) to snapshot and share the image. Please paste the screenshot link in your response.
We appreciate your cooperation!
Hey @dvalilis,
Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
Hi @alinclamba , thank you for your response. Here is the link of the screenshot https://imgur.com/a/dulS45B.
Looking forward to your response.
@dvalilis thank you for the screenshot!
Sorry to ask you again, but could you write CriticalCSSGenerator
in the console and give us a screenshot of the whole line that shows up?
This will not share anything sensitive, it will just give us information about the code we use to generate critical css with.
Hi @dvalilis,
I’m excited to share some fantastic news with you! 😊
After a thorough investigation, we identified that the issue causing Jetpack Boost to fail during Critical CSS generation was linked to the ShopEngine plugin active on your site. We contacted the plugin’s developers, and they’ve already released an updated version with a fix.
Please go ahead and update the ShopEngine plugin. Once updated, try regenerating the Critical CSS in Jetpack → Boost.
Best!
Hi @alinclamba,
the issue is fixed indeed. Thank you very much!
Awesome! Glad to hear it. Please post again if anything else comes up.
