    Hi,

the contact form of my support page stopped working. When I open the editor for the page the contact-form block gives me this error message: “
Your site doesn’t include support for the “jetpack/contact-form” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.”

I tried to troubleshoot it myself. Checked “xmlrpc.php” and got the correct response: “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”

So I don’t know how to continue my search for the spoilsport. Please advise.

    Thanks!

    Hi there, @hoerbarium,

Thanks for your patience and for bearing with us; we’re working on a backlog of support requests at this time, and we generally answer in the order received.

It seems that your website is experiencing an issue with the Jetpack Contact Form block. This can happen for several reasons, such as a plugin conflict, a theme issue, or a problem with your current instance of Jetpack.

Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Jetpack and all your plugins and themes are up to date.
    2. Try deactivating other plugins temporarily to see if there is a conflict causing this issue.
    3. Switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One to rule out any theme conflicts.
    4. If you have recently added custom code to your site, temporarily remove it to see if it affecting the block functionality.
    5. Connect to your site via FTP and check for any errors in the logs that could give more details on the issue.

Could you also please check your Jetpack settings to ensure that the contact form module is activated? You can do this by navigating to Jetpack > Settings > Writing in your WordPress dashboard. It looks like it’s active form what I can see on my end, but better if you can confirm it.

Hope that’s all clear! Let me know what you find out, and we’ll take it from there if necessary.

    Thank you!

    Hello @hoerbarium,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
