Jetpack google photos says Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria when selecting albums. Photos load OK but specific month year loads different dates. I have disconnected and reconnected. It’s not easy to find images when using a library with 20k images.

    Hi there,

Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

In the meantime, it would be helpful to know if you’re experiencing this issue consistently across different browsers or if it’s isolated to one in particular. Additionally, could you please confirm if you’ve cleared your browser’s cache after disconnecting and reconnecting to Google Photos?

Looking forward to helping you resolve this issue.

Unfortunately, sharing the site URL will not provide you with the information you need to diagnose the problem, as the missing files are only visible (or rather, invisible) on the backend. The public-facing site does not display the specific Google Photos files selected by date, as the issue appears to be on the backend where the files are managed.

    To address your additional queries:

    1. I have experienced this issue consistently across multiple browsers, including [list the browsers you have tested, e.g., Chrome, Firefox, and Safari].

    2. I have cleared my browser’s cache and disconnected and reconnected to Google Photos, but this has not resolved the issue.

Given this context, it seems that the problem may be rooted in the backend integration with Google Photos rather than a client-side issue.

Please advise on how we can proceed to resolve this matter. If you require specific details or logs from the backend, I’m happy to provide them via your contact form or any other secure method you prefer.

Of course! The site in question is https://web-tart.co.uk/ but not sure how to show the problems in the back end. First there is a mismatch between date fetches compared to photos.google.com and secondly album fetch show nothing: https://photos.app.goo.gl/gFbLXChjE9oiFmvN9

Hi @tomcoady, thank you for sharing the site URL. I noticed you are using Cloudflare and wonder if the cache or any other functionality of Cloudflare is causing the issue you are facing. Could you retry after pausing Cloudflare and clearing your site cache? Please let us know how it goes!

    Hi @tomcoady,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Sorry about that, I guess I missed the previous notice. I have set the site to developer mode which seems to have improved the speed slightly as well as fetching for for a specific month, but albums is still failing to load.

    Hi there, @tomcoady,

I tried to reproduce the issue on my end with no success, though. I have some tests for you to try out:

    • Check if things improve by turning Cloudflare off
    • Double-checked the permissions in your Google Photos account and settings, to make sure nothing has changed and Jetpack still has access to it
    • If you have another Google account, try to upload some photos in there in a coupld of albums, then connect it to Jetpack via https://wordpress.com/marketing/connections/yoursiteurl, and see if they appear in your Media Gallery.

Let me know what you find out, and we’ll take it from there if necessary. Thanks!

Thank you for the suggestions and for your efforts in trying to troubleshoot the issue. I’ve decided not to continue with the troubleshooting for now, as it seems to be a glitch specific to my setup. I appreciate your time and assistance, and I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
