Hey @writersinitiativeuk! I see a few things going on here.
First, it looks like your site is loading at both http and https URLs:
http://www.writersinitiative.com/
https://www.writersinitiative.com/
This is problematic for your site’s communication with WordPress.com (via Jetpack), as our system does not know which address it should communicate with.
To solve this issue, please go to Settings > General in your WP Admin, and use https in your URLs, rather than http. Then, ask your host to ensure that your traffic to http is all redirected to https. This is something they should easily be able to do for you.
Additionally, your site loads at both a www URL and a non-www URL:
https://writersinitiative.com/
https://www.writersinitiative.com/
This is a similar situation to the https/http issue I mentioned above. Please ask your host to help you ensure your site only loads at one of those URLs. It’s up to you which one to use, but most websites these days use a non-www URL.
Once your site loads at a single URL, please reconnect your site to Jetpack:

Let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the updates and I will let you know how it goes! 🙂
