    Hello,

Since Januari 31th my JetPack stats stopped showing traffic.
On the Google Search Console I can still see clicks comming in.
Does anyone know what I have to do to fix it?

    Hi there

Did you make any changes on the site around that time? Installing new plugins, changing settings etc?

Jetpack stats relies on some javascript code in the footer of your site, so any other plugins that affect javascript could cause a conflict.

I’d suggest deactivating any plugins you activated around the time the issue started and monitor the stats for a while to see if they start working. I’d also suggest deactivating any plugins that directly affect the use of javascript on your site, such as autoptimize and any other optimization plugins.

    Hello Dan,

    Thank you for your reply.
I think I updated the astra theme at that time. I already checked if the wp_footer() is still in there. And it is.

I also stopped minimizing javascript for a test, but that didn’t help.
Also checking the dev console in the browser, it did not return errors.

I shall start disabling plugins, in the morning, and see what happens.

I should point out that even if you deactivate a plugin that is conflicting, it won’t restore any missing stats. Also stats are not recorded in real time, so you’ll probably need to wait a few hours to confirm whether stats are being recorded again or not.

    Hello Dan,

Too bad for the stats, but I didn’t expect them to magicaly reappear. So that is ok.
I eventually deactivated autoptimize, trustpilot and hubspot plugins.
Reactivated trustpilet and hubspot. And reverted the Astra Theme to the previous version.
I am now starting to see some traffic in the stats again. So I guess it works so far.

I’ll test the theme again later.

    Thank you for your help.

It is still not working as smoothly as before.
Can it be that the integration of JetPack into the Complianz plugin is causing the (non-)issue?

Fix: short code for custom consent area not activating due to changes in the jquery events props samu-d.

    Hey @dynaworkx,

Another user recently reported a similar issue in this forum thread, and they’re also using the Complianz plugin. I recommend reaching out to their support team and ask them if there’s anything they’ve done in their update that affects wp_footer. Please see the section under “The Stats feature is active, but no visits are being recorded anymore” in our documentation below for more information on this:

Let us know what you find out.
