    Hello,

I’m sending visitors to specific job category pages. However, when no jobs exist for a certain category, the page loads all other jobs regardless of category.

The link above takes you to the “Corporate” job openings page. I have no jobs categorized as “Corporate”.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    AJ

  • That’s not default behavior; if no categories match, it shouldn’t load any jobs, so there must be another plugin or aspect unique to your site causing that behavior.

Hopefully, the WPJM team here can help provide some more clues, though you might try (on a staging website) disabling other plugins or changing your theme, and seeing if the problem resolves.

I disabled all but the WP Job Manager plugins, and it still loads all open jobs in all categories, instead of listing nothing.

Thanks for the report, I’ve opened up an issue for our developers here:

    https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/issues/1977

Since we have that open issue, I’ll mark this thread as Resolved. Further updates will happen on Github. Thanks!
