• Hi!

I went on to my website to check my stats and it seems that jetpack was disconnected. I re-connected it, but now I have missing stats from 30th April – 19th June. This coincided with a web developer editing the site – but I have asked them and they said they didn’t do anything to disconnect the jetpack? It would be great to get this stats back as it is when my project launched our new materials so we want to see the impact. Any help would be very much appreciated!

    Hello there, @esmefreedman,

I checked your Jetpack connection on the days you mentioned, and I can see some gaps in the stats beng tracked. I can still see some stats being gathered in April and June, with a full gap in May.

This, as you suspected, has been caused by Jetpack being disconnected. I trust your webmaster when they said they didn’t disconnect, however it’s possible that it got disconnected anyway while working on the site. If you have logs for that time (April-June), you should be able to see when and why Jetpack disconnected.

The bad news is that we cannot retrieve any lost stats, because we are able to fetch stats data only if Jetpack is well connected. Given it was not connected, we can’t retrieve what we didn’t fetch at all.

I know this is not the answer you wanted to hear, but I hope it helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions or doubts, and we’re happy to assist you.
