    Hi all,

I’m using Jetpack post by mail function to post articles via email. This works perfect, but images attached to the email are not showing up in the post.

Any idea how to get this solved?

    Regards, Ralph

    Hi @buzzer222,

Thanks for contacting us! Can you tell me how you compose the emails you send for publishing?

Which email software are you using? Do you write the emails and send them using the same software?

    Best,

    Hi Gaurav,

I’m using Outlook for composing and sending emails. The email content is visible, but not the jpg file attached to the email.

    Regards, Ralph

    Hi @buzzer222 ,

Thanks for getting back to us. I have escalated this issue to our development team to have a look. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have updates.

In the meantime, can you tell us if you have recently made changes to your theme or switched to a completely different one?

Look forward to hearing from you!

    Hello @buzzer222,

Thanks for your patience so far.

The team has taken a closer look at your site’s logs for the failed Post by Email attempts and noticed that the specific user linked to Jetpack might not be allowed to edit posts. The team suggests that you ensure the connected user in question is an administrator on the site.

After making sure of that, please disconnect and reconnect Jetpack on your site to see if that helps resolve the issue. You can use our guide here for that: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reconnecting-jetpack

Let us know how that goes!

    Hey @buzzer222,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
