Publicize Showing Too Much Information…?

    Is there a way to customize how much text from my articles Publicize pulls? Right now it is far too much for my liking. I’d prefer only the title be included.

    Hi @afrohoney!

    For sure! One of the easiest ways is to use the ‘Custom Message’ field.

    When you’re writing a post on your dashboard, look in the “Publish” box on the right side. Look for “Publicize” and click the ‘Edit Details’ link.

    That will show the ‘Custom Message’ field. Anything you write here will be used instead of the default snip of text from your post.

    If you want to a coding solution, there are some Publicize hooks available that you could use to change the default setting:
