Simply not worth it

My first ever review (created an account just for this!). Sad to say it is not positive.

I’ve been using Jetpack for a few years on my blog. It has been ok, mainly useful for the stats feature and some of the widgets. However, today I have uninstalled it and moved to alternatives. My reasons for a 1-star review are:

1. They charge a crazy amount for the stats features now
2. I found that Jetpack was slowing down my site, particularly the dashboard. After uninstalling the plugin it is much, much faster. Quite ironic considering they include the word “speed” in the plugin name here.
3. Useless AI features they’re focussing on due to being part of the AI buzz culture.
