• Hi,

I have added the Subscribe Block for my customers to subscribe to our posts, and have been testing it. When adding my email address I get a popup window that says “You are now subscribed to Safety as (my email address)”. But I am not added to the subscribers list and I do not get an email when I post. I have enabled that I allow the users to subscribe in the newsletter section in the settings.

    What could be wrong?

    Best regards Synnøve

    Hello @syntve,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I tried to subscribe to your site using a test email address and I wasn’t able to receive either a confirmation or welcome email for the subscription.

While trying to subscribe to your site under the test page you set up (https://safety.nortek.st/test/), I noticed a few resources errors under the browser console. See screenshot here: https://d.pr/i/wJX8q5.

It looks like something is blocking some of our resources/scripts from being loaded properly on your site.

Could you please check if the issue persists if you simulate a clean WordPress session using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin?

Troubleshooting mode of the plugin above allows you to have a clean WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user until you disable it or log out.

When utilizing the troubleshooting mode, your currently logged in user is given a stripped down version of WordPress, where all plugins are disabled and one of the default themes is activated.

It is important to note that this is only the case for your user, it does not affect any other site visitors, or users of your site, for them the theme will be the same, and all plugins will still be running as before.

This mode is essential when trying to identify the cause of an issue, as in most cases, any issue you have might be introduced by a theme or one of your plugins (or maybe even multiple plugins interacting poorly with each other).

When in troubleshooting mode, you are able to verify if a problem still exists in a basic WordPress setup, thus helping us identify and fixing a bug others may be encountering, or finding out which plugin or your theme is causing the problems so that you can report this to the applicable authors.

You can read more in Using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.

    Look forward to your updates!
