We use woocommerce payments which uses Stripe Express. I created a test site and when I did it somehow created a duplicate Stripe account. Now I have one for mywebsite.com and one for test.mywebsite.com. The account for test states “information needed” but when you click on it the message is “You have no accounts to receive payouts with. Please add one below.” I left it alone until we received an email claiming our business was fraudulent and in violation of stuff we clearly are not. I tried to reach out to Stripe support and was willing to provide any information they needed but no one asked for anything. All I received was automatic emails stating we were fraudulent and breaking guidlines and that we were getting our account closed. Tried and tried to get a human to respond to me and nothing. We just received an email saying our account was closed and it was final. What is going on!? I thought that woocommerce chose Stripe as their premier payment gateway. Why are we getting treated like this? We did nothing wrong. All I did was create a sandbox or test site. The customers who have ordered from us are happy. How do I resolve this? I have read that this has happened to many other users so I know it is not just me. I checked the BBB and of course Stripe is 1/5 stars with nothing but horrible reports filled with auto replies from Stripe. This isn’t ethical and it probably isn’t legal. What can I do to resolve this and get payments working again? Thanks!

    Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about your experience so far with WooCommerce Payments and our payments processor, Stripe. 🙁

Unfortunately, these types of account-related matters aren’t able to be discussed here in a public forum. If you can, please create a ticket here so we can discuss this with you:

    Thanks!
