The best way to send inexpensive emails on WordPress

For years I struggled to figure out a workable email newsletter option for my content-based website. Many of the major players out there — MailChimp, MailerLite, etc. — are so expensive that the return on investment was terrible. At some point I discovered that I could send emails through Amazon Simple Email Service for a fraction of the cost, but I still needed a WordPress option to get my emails through SES.

This plugin is the best one I could find. It’s full-featured, designed to handle the complexities of everything from list creation to automated newsletters, and it interfaces well with SES. The pricing is fair and offers a good value for what it offers.
