    Hello,

I have an active subscription to Aksimet (it has just been renewed with a HUGE increase in price) and would like “Unlimited Sites” clarified… I not only have my own website but I also look after my other half’s website. So does “unlimited sites mean I can use the same API key for her site?

Taken literally, it looks like I can but I want to be sure 🙂

    Thank you

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Yes, you can use your API key for her site.

As described on the Akismet API key page, the subscriptions are capped by the total number of API calls per month from all of the sites using the API key. As long as the number of API calls from your site and her site combined is under the API call limit for your subscription, you’ll be fine.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

Hi there! When we changed our pricing, we moved from the Plus plan being “per site” to an API call limit – that means you can have as many sites as you want using that API key up to 10k API calls per month.

If you need more than 10k per month, you can purchase additional Plus subscriptions to add 10k API calls to your account up to 40k total.

So the short answer is “yes.” 🙂

Greetings and thank you for your quick responses… I thought that was the case but there is nothing like being sure 🙂

    Kind regards
