Hello, I have used your plugin on loads of websites but I have a weird issue.

When I go to enable the plugin I get the following:

Warning! You may not be allowed to use this plugin on your site.

The file /var/www/vhosts/streamamg.com/httpdocs/wp-content/advanced-cache.php was created by another plugin or by your system administrator. Please examine the file carefully by FTP or SSH and consult your hosting documentation.

I have deleted those files, which then allow me to activate the plugin (which re generates those files) but then I refresh and get the same error.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi there,

Sorry to hear you’re running into that problem? Do you have other caching plugins active on your site? If so, I would recommend turning them off.

If that does not resolve the problem, it could indicate that there is a process on your hosting environment that automatically regenerates this file.

In that case, the best thing to do would be to consult your hosting provider’s documentation or support team to understand why that file is being regenerated and how to manage it, so it does not conflict with WP Super Cache.

Please let us know how that goes and if we can do anything else to help!

    Hi there, @dabeecher,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
