    Hello I had to deactivate askimet
    because for 2 days it has caused the impossibility of accessing my wordpress account …. saying an authentication error
    I asked my host if the ip was blocked but no

    I suspect the issue must have been caused by the WordPress plugin update process not having completed properly when you last upgraded (probably to our version 5.0). That would explain why reinstalling solved the issue.

    Thank you so I just sent a message
    because even by re-installing the extension it causes the same type of errors including ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    the access problem came back this morning on a reliable internet line
    with a login refused yet good

    For maintenance I had to deactivate – reactivate all my plugins….
    At the time of reactivation I had an error “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS”
    Then then this login problem
    Going through the cpanel – I was able to put in old askimet and it got fixed.
    It also gives me problems with wp rocket cache purge and permission to see pages
    Even deactivated – I have to put in old so that my site works normally
    I could see but maybe it is a coincidence that askimet prevented the activation of the Login LockDown plugin
    I asked my host to restart memcachedphp and make sure to whitelist my IP
    This allowed me to reactivate askimet normally, to purge the unused css and the cache of wp rocket
    I think it’s good now
