It’s indeed fixed now. Thank you for the quick update! =)
Thank you! Yes I left a review three years ago. My opinion hasn’t changed since! 🙂
Thank you so much Jordy, you rock! \m/ It works effortlessly!
+1It seems that the 6.4.9 update fixes the error. Thank you Jeff!

In reply to: [AddQuicktag] Doesn’t work on WordPress 4.6.1 and visual text editorHi!
I think I found the error. In my dev console I get a 404 error on the following file:
http://mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/addquicktag/inc/tinymce/editor_plugin.js?wp-mce-4403-20160901
Indeed in the plugin folder I cannot find the
tinymce
folder…Hi Jordy!
Thank you for your kind reply, as always.
I know the
jpeg_quality
filter and I have been using it for a long time. However, my need here is a bit more subtle: I’d need to lower the
jpeg_quality
only for the retina images, in order to apply a “Compressive images” performance strategy (another link about this method).I thought it was possible with the compression setting that used to be in WP Retina 2x, wasn’t it?
+1 ! I dearly miss this setting. My retina images are so heavy 🙁 A setting to lower the jpeg quality of the retina images generated by WP Retina 2x would be perfect!

Thank you so much Jordy!
Lorsque je me mettrai à mon compte, je te contacterai 🙂
Merci encore pour tes plugins et le temps que tu consacres au support, c’est hyper apprécié ! 👍🏻
Hi Jordy!
Thank you so much for your quick reply.
I did try Media Cleaner, however it wasn’t the exact tool I needed (I’m using a custom shortcode within my posts to insert images, thus the plugin wouldn’t find them and consider all images as not used by WordPress – I’m very aware it’s a special case!).
You’re absolutely right regarding WP Retina 2x. After I posted my first message, I looked for other ways to delete useless retina images which weren’t deleted by your plugin. I finally used the shell, and it worked fine.
I agree it’s a particular need and that the risky solutions are for advanced users only.
Thanks again for your excellent work!
