Marisquería Mopri

Marisquería Mopri is simply the place to get the freshest fish in Puerto Viejo. More fish vendor than restaurant, Marisquería Mopri has just a handful of plastic tables in front of the fish counter and a simple kitchen, and the focus here is on the flavor of the fish, not fancy flatware. Also known as Mariscos Mopri #2, the first incarnation was a small fish stand a few meters away, but a local following demanded a larger set-up, and now the place is as popular for its daily supply of fresh caught fish straight from Limon as for its plates of whole red snapper with french fries and ceviche.
